Religion In Our School
To celebrate being a Catholic School, we have a sacred space in the main entrance hall which contains a Bible, a crucifix, a statue of Our Lady and other Holy symbols. The Schedule for Catholic Schools and the schools Vision and Mission Statement are also on display in the common area. Each classroom has their own Sacred Space. This Sacred Space serves as a point of focus for pupils prayer. It is a centre for reflection and a display area for the children's work.
Many thanks to Claire Hynes and Josephine Curran, our Diocesan Advisers who visited our school recently. They really enjoyed visiting all our classes and were very impressed with the wonderful children we have in our school.
